最近接到一封E-mail 內容如下:

我記得幾年前曾經受邀為該雜誌review一篇submitted article.基於好奇就再次上該
網站瀏覽,沒想到還留著我對那一篇論文的審查紀錄.
上面有我寫給editorial office的一段話:
To the editorial office:(Reviewer's personal information)
You have a wonderfully designed website. It has made the process of reviewing very convenient.However, there is a mistake in my personal information. I live in Taiwan,which is ABSOLUTELY NOT "Taiwan, Province of China". We take great pride in our country. In Taiwan we value independence and freedom, which are goals we all pursue. Please correct my nationality to "Taiwan". Thank you very much.
更有趣的是網站上,我資料上的country已經改為Taiwan,
country的選項也已經改為Taiwan
不過country的選項下方有一段說明:
This list is based on the International Standards Organization
3166 list of countries and dependent territories.
點進去 International Standards Organization發現並無Taiwan而是
Taiwan, Province of China
可見事在人為不見得非遵守International Standards Organization不可
還是有許多老外是明理的.
